Animal Reiki sessions are offered remotely through Zoom or in person (local areas only), at your home for your animal’s comfort.

I begin each session with a check-in to discuss what ways you would like for Reiki to support your animal companion. It is usually the animal that guides the duration of the session according to their comfort level, which could be up to 35 minutes. Your animal may sleep, relax, stretch, move around, or behave as they normally would — all responses are completely valid. Reiki meets your pet exactly where they are. 

You, as their caregiver, are welcome to participate in the session. Each session lasts approximately 40–45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Create a calm, quiet environment where your animal feels safe and comfortable. A cozy resting space and minimal noise can help them settle and receive the session with ease.

  • Simply stay relaxed and allow your animal to move freely. They may shift, rest, explore, or come and go as they please. Animals naturally take what they need from the session, and your calm presence helps support that.

    You may observe gentle signs of release such as stretching, yawning, sighing, or your animal choosing to rest or come closer. Each experience is unique, and all responses are welcome.

  • Reiki is not a substitute for veterinary care or medicine. Reiki session(s) for your animal is intended to provide relaxation, reduce stress, promote overall health and well-being. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe veterinary medication, perform medical treatment of any kind or interfere with the treatment of a licensed veterinarian or other medical professionals. Reiki is not a substitute for veterinary care or medicine.
